Oceanic Pollution

One of our goals here at Auryu is to bring attention to the condition of our waterways and oceans. Our oceans are some of our most biologically diverse environments on earth, so keeping them clean and maintaining that progress is of the utmost importance to us. Between 8 and 10 million tons of plastic are discarded in the ocean yearly, adding to the trillions of pieces already floating around. Out of all oceanic pollution, plastic makes up around 80% of all oceanic pollution, so we're raising awareness and looking for long-term solutions!

Microplastics have long been linked to environmental pollution, but new research is uncovering a more alarming reality—they’re making their way into the human body, including the brain. Once thought to be an external issue, plastic contamination is now being found in our most vital organs, raising urgent questions about long-term health effects. This blog takes a closer look at recent studies, explains how microplastics enter the body, and highlights why this topic demands more attention. It also offers practical ways to reduce unnecessary plastic exposure in daily life.
